Peter Thomas came from little means. Originally from England, he arrived in Canada as a young boy with his mother who instilled in him an unshakable foundation of ethics and values that led to his great success, and has taken him to where he is today, from a serial to social entrepreneur living an extraordinary life.

Thomas recognized as one of the leading developers and lenders of his time in North America, has developed billion of dollars in real estate projects, from shopping centers to golf courses. He introduced and established Century 21 Real Estate across Canada, founded Samoth Capital Corporation (now known as Sterling Centre-corp Inc.) and developed the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.

In April 2000, Peter's life as he knew it was shattered when his only son, Todd took his own life. All at once, it became impossible to remain positive. Peter revered the words of Martin Luther King "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy." It was that same year that Peter turned his efforts to honoring the life of his son by concentrating on his charities: The Todd Thomas Foundation and the Thomas Foundation.

He is the Founder and Chairman of LifePilot, and the Todd Thomas Institute for Values-Based Leadership at Royal Roads University in BC, Canada, named in honor of his son. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and one of the founders and Board of Directors of L3, a vibrant global network of proven leaders, actualizing their passions, living enriched lives and making the world a better place.
