Jose Pinera
José Piñera is Founder and President of the International Center for Pension Reform (Santiago), Distinguished Scholar of the Cato Institute (Washington), Distinguished Scholar of the Istituto Bruno Leoni (Milan), and member of the Advisory Council the Educational Initiative for Central and Eastern Europe (Vienna).
In 1990 he founded the "Project Chile 2010" initiative, which promotes free market and free society in Chile.
In 1992, the first municipal election in a democracy, is campaigning in the Conchali in order to demonstrate that free market solutions are also the best in a community of low income and serious social problems. Councilor is elected with a majority.

José Piñera is the author of eight books (several of them translated into different languages), numerous essays and articles, and actively participates in the contest of ideas lecturing in Chile and in the world.
José Piñera has led the journal Economy and Society of opinion for four different times, with eighty-two editions printed in the first three seasons and plenty of electronic equipment in the fourth time on the internet.
