Mr. Pickens has 17 years of corporate takeover and turnaround experience. His overall accomplishments include the completion of four unsolicited takeover offers representing more than $4 billion in completed restructurings and takeovers. He has been involved in the restructuring and turnaround of 18 companies both as a principal and advisor. Mr. Pickens has been recognized for his success in numerous publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, New York Times, and Business Week.

Mr. Pickens is currently chairman of T.B. Pickens & Co. and Managing Partner of Tactic Advisors, Inc. Mr. Pickens currently serves on the boards of Trenwick America Reinsurance Corporation, Spacehab Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAB) and is serving as the Chairman of the equity committee for Mirant, Corp. (NASDAQ" MIRKQ) . He was the Chairman and CEO of Catalyst Energy Corporation, Chairman and CEO of United Thermal Corporation (NASDAQ: Delisted), President of Golden Bear Corp., Vidalia Hydroelectric Corporation, United Hydro, Inc. and The Code Corporation, Inc. Mr. Pickens has also been the Managing Partner of Pickens Capital Income Fund L.P., and through Grace Pickens Acquisition Partners L.P. and Sumter Partners L.P., he successfully managed the unsolicited offer and restructuring of Richmond Hill Savings Bank, the Japan Fund, and Clemente Global Growth Fund. In addition to these corporate positions, he also served on the Board of Directors of U.S. Utilities, Inc. Great Southern Water Corp., South Carolina Water & Sewer, Inc., Optifab, Inc. (NASDAQ: Delisted) and the New York chapter chairman of United Shareholders Association, a shareholders rights organization.
