serving in a variety of senior roles, including Chief Communications Officer
and, later, as Executive Producer responsible for the customer experience of
Schwab.com.
His company, Integration Associates, was acquired by Silicon Labs for $80
million in 2008.
Mark is a venture investor, management advisor and former board member of
private and public companies. He served as Chairman of Rioport, Inc., which
popularized the MP3 player; he was Chairman of Integration, Inc., a
communications semiconductor company; and Chairman of VMAX, which was the
exclusive distributor of Micron PCs in China. He has been speaker at London
Business School, Stanford University, U.C. Berkeley, The Economist and Fortune
Magazine conferences, The New York Stock Exchange summits with The Churchill
Club and Financial Executives Institute. He served on the Council of The
Heartland Circle Thought Leaders Gatherings.
He is a cofounder of the Stanford Realtime Venture Design Lab and a visiting
scholar at Stanford. Mark has also served as a governor and lecture member at
the prestigious World Economic Forum.
He is a former member of the board of Best Buy Enterprises, Korn Ferry
International, Interwoven and Teletech, and was an advisor to many other
private startups. He served on the board of the National Investor Relations
Institute and Seniornet.com. In 1996 he accepted an appointment to U.S. SEC
Consumer Advisory Council.
