With a focus on singing impressions; his high-energy 'Superstar Voices in Concert' show has proven to be truly entertaining for every age, race, country, and language. Along with Larry's impressively precise voices are a multitude of outrageous yet clean song parodies, multi-celebrity skits, physical comedy, and audience participation. Growing up, Larry was quite the class clown. Coming from a long line of singers, Larry started performing in his elementary school choir and school plays. Then, as a college freshman, Larry's professional career started suddenly and accelerated very quickly. One day, he was jamming with some college musician friends, the next day he became the lead vocalist and front man for a top touring college show band. Fans immediately began to take note of Larry's uncanny knack for sounding like singers and encouraged him to try new voices. Even to his surprise, he was able to accurately imitate both men's and women's voices from every era, vocal range, and style of music. Graduating a few years later with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, Jones moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. Hundreds of gigs and scores of voice lessons later, Larry was awarded a 'Voice and Performance Scholarship' from the Southern California Conservatory of Music where he auditioned with '4 songs in 4 languages' (Italian, Spanish, German, and English). Later, he was offered yet another classical training voice scholarship at Loyola Marymount University. After answering an ad for "sound-alikes wanted" in a Hollywood acting trade magazine, Larry was soon getting paid to perfect his voices and fine tune his ears in some of Los Angeles' top studios. Within weeks, Larry G Jones' impressionist voices were being distributed to over 1000 radio local and nationally syndicated radio stations. His perfect pitch earned him the title 'the one-take-wonder' from many studio engineers. Soon he began writing his own comedy and song parodies for radio giant 'Premiere' and their Pop, Country, Alternative, and Adult Contemporary networks. Larry then decided to combine his many years of live performance and professional studio experience to create one of his current shows 'Superstar Voices in Concert.' Larry now entertains around the world to consistently rave reviews from corporate clients including many fortune 500 companies like Taco Bell, Best Buy, Hewlett Packard, Disney, Bush Gardens and many more. First; In 1998 Larry was diagnosed with a super aggressive Stage IV metastasized, malignant "Terminal" cancer, second; a 'death by drowning' survivor, and third; had complete kidney failure and recovery.
