David Adler
David Adler is the author of SNAP JUDGMENT (Financial Times Press, 2009) about behavioral economics. Adler is a regular contributor to Barron's and Institutional Investor and is the contributing High Net Worth writer for Financial Planning Magazine. He is the recipient of two research grants from the CFA Institute, both relating to tax efficient investment strategies and behavioral based errors in portfolio construction. David also produced the public television documentary "Financial Insecurity: America's Crisis in Healthcare and Retirement."
David Adler is the author of SNAP JUDGMENT (Financial Times Press, 2009) about behavioral economics. Previously he co-edited the anthology "Understanding American Economic Decline" (Cambridge University Press). David Adler is a regular contributor to Barron's and Institutional Investor and is the contributing High Net Worth writer for Financial Planning Magazine. He has also written for the New Republic and Psychology Today.
David Adler was educated at Oxford and Columbia from which he received an MA in economics. He is the recipient of two research grants from the CFA Institute, both relating to tax efficient investment strategies and behavioral based errors in portfolio construction, with findings expected to be published next year. David Adler produced the public television documentary "Financial Insecurity: America's Crisis in Healthcare and Retirement." He is currently working on a new documentary on behavioral finance which will air on PBS/NOVA in late Spring 2010.
