Andy Reid, head coach and executive vice president of operations for the Philadelphia Eagles is the winningest coach in team history. He has led the Eagles to four consecutive NFC East division titles, four consecutive trips to the NFC Championship Game, and their first Super Bowl appearance since 1980. Reid's .657 overall winning percentage (71-37) ranks second behind Joe Gibbs among all active NFL coaches and his playoff win total (7) is the most in club history.

In his 13 year pro coaching career, Reid's teams have made the playoffs eleven times. He has coached in the Super Bowl three times and the NFC Championship Game seven times.

Reid became the 20th head coach in franchise history on Jan. 11,1999, and was promoted to head coach/executive vice president of football operations in 2001. He was named NFL coach of the year in 2000 and 2002.

He joined the Eagles after a seven year stint as an assistant coach with Green Bay (1992-98) under Mike Holmgren. With Green Bay, Reid helped the Packers earn a Super Bowl XXXI victory over New England.

With Green Bay, Reid helped the Packers reach the playoffs six straight times from 1993-1998. During that span, Green Bay defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI and reached the NFL's title game again the following year after earning the NFC crown with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

During the Packers' remarkable run, Reid played a significant role in helping put together that club's renowned offensive attack. Indeed, Reid put his signature on nearly every part of the Packers' offense while coaching three different positions and assisting head coach Mike Holmgren and offensive coordinator Sherman Lewis with their game-planning duties.

Reid, who had been offensive line coach at the University of Missouri from 1988-1991, was named to the Packers' staff by Holmgren on Jan 2l, 1992, to assist Tom Lovat with the offensive line in addition to coaching the tight ends.

Reid's coaching career began at his alma mater, Brighham Young, as a graduate assistant under Lavell Edwards in 1982. It was here he first met Holmgren who was then a member of the BYU coaching staff. His career includes San Francisco State (1983-1985), Northern Arizona (1986), Texas-El Paso (1987-1988) and Missouri (1989-91).

Reid has a bacholor's degree in physical education. He has also received a master's degree in professional leadership in physical education and athletics. Born in Los Angeles on March 19, 1958, Reid and his wife Tammy have five children: Garrett, Britt, Crosby, Drew Ann and Spenser.
