Doug Stevenson
Doug Stevenson is an entrepreneur and businessman with the heart of an entertainer. With a decade in real estate, a decade in Hollywood as an actor and another decade speaking, Doug mixes practical business experience with his hilarious theatrical talent in an entertaining and powerful program that inspires his audiences to get back to work with renewed enthusiasm.
He became a professional actor at the age of 19 in Chicago and continued to pursue an acting career in Hollywood where he did stand up comedy, and acted in stage, movie and television productions. He won critical acclaim, but alas, no fame.
While in Hollywood he became an entrepreneur, owning a carpentry and remodeling business for six years. His second business was a mobile disk jockey company and his third was a real estate brokerage.
Doug is the creator of the Story Theater Method for Making Content Come Alive and the author of Never Be Boring Again - Make Your Business Presentations Capture Attention, Inspire Action, and Produce Results. He has also authored numerous training programs including Medical Success Seminars; the audio and video of the Positive Power of Change; and five audio albums of Story Theater - The Science of the Art of Storytelling and Humor in Business. His articles and interviews have been published in many national publications including Selling Power, Investors Business Daily and Professional Speaker Magazine. He was a columnist for the Denver Business Journal, contributing his monthly Talk Your Walk series for over a year.

Doug lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife Deborah (VP of Everything), and their family pets: a neurotic but loveable black lab mix named Beta and an adorable old mutt named Maggie. His stepson Mike is a Hip Hop producer in Los Angeles. His stepson Bennett is a Cadet at the US Air Force Academy.
