Whether it's calculating the next scoring play, or calculating a business strategy yielding the greatest returns - Steve Young knows about leadership both on the field and off. 

His football career reads like the story of an all-American quarterback: with a career spanning fifteen years he holds three Super-Bowl titles to his credit (including being named MVP of Super Bowl XXIX), was twice named NFL's Most Valuable Player, is the first left-handed quarterback to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and is the highest-rated quarterback in NFL history. He is best remembered for his playing days with the San Francisco 49ers, but has been seen recently co-hosting the Super Bowl pre-game, half-time, and post-game shows on ABC. He is also a popular studio analyst on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown TV series.

Since his days in pro-football, Young has enjoyed equal success as a business leader in the finance sector. He is currently Managing Director and Co-founder of Huntsman Gay Global Capital. Previously, he was a co-founder and Managing Director of Sorenson Capital, a private equity fund which focused on middle market leveraged buyouts in the Western United States. Prior to that  he was a member in Northgate Capital, LLC, the general partner of Northgate Capital Partners, L.P., a fund of funds.

Steve Young also brings his unique leadership skills to deliver help to others. He founded and chairs the Forever Young Foundation which is actively involved in children's charities worldwide. He is also the broadcast host and former International Spokesperson for the Children's Miracle Network which has raised over one billion dollars world-wide to benefit children's hospitals.

Mr. Young has also served as the corporate spokesperson for companies such as Nike, Visa, Sun Microsystems, Sprint, PowerBar and ICON Health & Fitness, and has recently been profiled in a publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Worth Magazine, Sports Illustrated, People, Inside Sports and GQ.

Mr. Young is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned a J.D. degree from the College of Law as well as a B.S. in Finance and Political Science.
