Bonnie Bernstein is the lead sideline reporter for the NFL on CBS and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championships. She covered Super Bowls XXXV And XXXV111 for the Network and during Super Bowl XXXV111, became the first reporter to serve as both a network TV and network radio correspondent, filing reports for CBS/Westwood One Radio. Bernstein also hosts the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships and CBS' Emmy-nominated anthology series, "Championships of the NCAA" and serves as a studio host for the Fidelity CBS SportsDesk and AT THE HALF, CBS Sports' college basketball halftime studio show. Additionally, Bernstein contributes features for THE NFL TODAY.

Bernstein joined CBS in 1998. After one season as a correspondent for THE NFL TODAY she moved out to the NFL sidelines and in 2004, joined the lead announce crew with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. In addition to her primary roles with the NFL and college basketball. Bernstein has also covered track and field and figure skating for the Network and has hosted the U.S. Open Tennis Championships (2000) and the Hambletonian (2000).

Since signing on with CBS/Westwood One Radio in 2001, Bernstein has often pulled "double duty" during the NFL season, covering a Sunday game for CBS and "Monday Night Football" for radio. She is also a member of Westwood One's Super Bowl announce team and has served as the network's sideline reporter for the Pro Bowl since the 2003-2004 season.

Bernstein joined CBS Sports from ESPN, where she was a correspondent for "SportsCenter" (1995-98). At ESPN she covered a variety of major events including the NBA Finals (1996-98), the Major Leaue Baseball Playoff (1995-97) and the NCAA Women's Basketball Championships (1997-98). She also served as a reporter for "NFL Countdown" and "College Game Day".

Prior to joining ESPN, Berstein was the main sports anchor at KRNV-TV (NBC) and KRNV Radio in Reno, NV (1993-95), weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV (ABC in Salisbury, MD (1993) and news and sports director at WXJN-FM Radio in Lewes, DE (1992-93).

Bernstein graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. While at College Park, she was a four-time Academic All-American selection (gymnastics) and received the Thomas M. Fields Award for academic and athletic excellence.

Bernstein was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in Howell, N.J. She currently resides in New York City.
