He is the former Director of Sports Psychology at the University of Virginia and author of numerous books and articles on the subject of mastering the mental aspects of sports and winning. He is also currently on the editorial board and columnist for Golf Digest and a contributing editor of Sports Psychologist. His expertise has earned him consultancies with some of the most recognized national sports organization, such as PGA of America, Rick Hendricks motorsports and U.S. Olympic Teams, Texas Rangers and The New Jersey Nets. Dr. Rotella's prolific and successful work with amateur and prominent professional athletes throughout the world has placed him in the forefront of his profession. His consultation with some of the top names in golf and their subsequent successful performances have shown his theories and methodology to be instrumental in winning.
