Biography: U.S. Ryder Team Captain & two-time PGA Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw, 69th member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, has won 19 PGA titles, including two Masters Tournaments and four international titles. In 1999, he guided the 1999 U.S. Ryder Cup Team to the most stunning come-from-behind victory in the history of the event. In his autobiography, Crenshaw calls the Ryder Cup Captaincy the pinnacle of his career. Published in 2003, "A Feel For The Game", is a warm tribute to golf and its traditions. Ben's respect and love for the game of golf has captivated sports fans around the world. His charisma, talent and grace under pressure have made him a gallery favorite from his days at the University of Texas, where he was heralded as the next Jack Nickolas, to the 1984 Masters Tournament, where he cemented his place in golf history by winning his first major championship title. Branching into new arenas, Crenshaw has also proven himself a skilled businessman and architect. He continues to build the excellent reputation of his architecture firm, Coore & Crenshaw, which has received numerous awards and recognition for planning some of the nation's most prestigious golf courses.
