Programs: SYNERGY THROUGH SAMBA The is one-of-a-kid, multi-sensory learning experience uses music to build teamwork and challenge habitual ways of thinking. Through the compelling instruments and invigorating rhythms of Brazilian Carnival, participants explore the value of individual and team contributions to creating a harmonious whole. Participants start out skeptical of their abilities and end up amazed that they sound like a professional ensemble. Carefully framed exercises draw solid connections between musical and business performance. By engaging as individuals, subgroups and larger groups, participants experience synergy first-hand and learn to apply its principles to a variety of situations. GLOBAL RHYTHMS Global rhythms exemplifies experiential learning at best! Tapping the rhythms of Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean, participants learn to play egg-shapped shakers and tuned musical tubes in a compelling ensemble performance. Used as a conference or meeting opener, this program sets the stage for high-level collaboration and creativity. PLAYING IT BY EAR This program uses jazz as a metaphor to offer a fresh perspective on innovation, risk-taking, team learning and collaboration. Participants improvise music in small ensemble groups, balancing structure and improvisation, collective grooves and individual initiative. Playing It By Ear is particularly effective for such groups as executive committees, in-tact or newly formed teams, product development groups and cross-function teams. INTERACTIVE SYNERGY KEYNOTE Combining performance with collaboration, this program begins with a Synergy Through Samba workshop for 25 to 200 participants who have been selected from a larger conference group. The experience culminates in an exciting performance by workshop participants before the larger group. |
