Biography: Dr. Faust is President of Faust Management Corporation, a San Diego-based management consulting firm which specializes in providing services to businesses worldwide. He is also Chairman and co-founder of Excalibur Medical Technologies. He has had a distinguished career as an entrepreneur, business owner/manager, consultant, scientist and academician. In 1971 Dr. Faust founded Courseware, Inc., and served as its President for seven years developing it into one of the largest research, development and consulting firms in the areas of training and training technology. In 1979 he took over as Senior Partner and President of The Adizes Institute where he built a worldwide management consulting firm. Since then he has founded or acquired other businesses forming Faust Management Corporation. He is also a co-founder of Physicians Quality Care, one of the countries fastest growing physician practice management and integrated health care delivery organizations. Dr. Faust has been a consultant to a broad range of business, professional and governmental organizations including the national Science Foundation and a White House Commission. His work with companies has included major organizational change programs and consulting with companies of all sizes including: Domino's Pizza, American Airlines, McCann Ericson, The Aspen Skiing Company, Bank of America (USA); SKF (Sweden); Ciba - Geigy, Suder Industries (Canada); Solaglas (United Kingdom); Jeans West, O'Brien Glass, Competitive Foods, Sportsgirl, Sportscraft (Australia) and Saudi Medicare (Saudi Arabia). Dr. Faust specializes in creating methods, approaches, tools and systems that help create the insights and environments which allow businesses, their leaders and managers to succeed. He has acted as an executive coach to many Chief Executives, established executive education and extensive organization change programs and managed businesses in different industries and different cultures. Well known as a dynamic speaker, Dr. Faust has been invited as a keynote speaker for associations, conventions and business retreats worldwide. He has been a keynote speaker for the Aerospace Industries Association, National Ski Areas Association, Western Fairs Association, American Association of Advertising Agencies, The International Racquet Sports Association, The Printing Industries Association, The Professional Insurance Association, numerous corporate retreats and annual conferences, as well as several universities, area conferences and chapter meetings of The Young Presidents Organization. In 1986, he was named the year's outstanding business resource speaker by The Executive Committee, an international organization providing services to over 6,500 CEO's. Dr. Faust has held professorships at the University of Illinois, University of Texas and Brigham Young University. At theses institutions he directed major research projects in psychology, problem-solving, decision-making, and computer application in education. He was co-director of the Training Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois and founder and co-director of the Institute for Computer Uses in Education and the Institute for Instructional Science at Brigham Young University. Presently, he is on the faculty of the Executive Program of the Graduate School of Management at UCLA. He is the author of Responsible Managers Get Results which is fast becoming a favorite among results oriented people throughout the country. |
