Biography: Marjorie Brody, CSP, PCC, CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame, is the Founder and Fearless Leader of BRODY Professional Development. She acts in four distinct capacities: company president, professional speaker, executive coach and published author. As an internationally recognized speaker, Marjorie proudly wears the designation of CSP -- Certified Speaking Professional, so designated by the National Speakers Association (NSA). In July 2006, she was inducted into NSA's Council of Peers Award for Excellence Speaker Hall of Fame. Marjorie also earned her PCC Professional Certified Coach -- designation from the International Coach Federation; and the title of CMC Certified Management Consultant from the Institute of Management Consultants. She is the only professional worldwide to obtain the combined CSP, CMC and PCC titles. In October 2006, Marjorie was inducted into the Temple University "Women's Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame." Previously, she was named one of "Pennsylvania's 1999 Best 50 Women in Business," and was one of 12 women selected as "1999 Distinguished National Leaders" by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. Marjorie was also one of 25 women selected as "1999 Women of Distinction" by the Philadelphia Business Journal, National Association of Women Business Owners and The Forum of Executive Women. Marjorie's company, BRODY, was a finalist in the small business category for the "2001 Family Business of the Year Award," coordinated by Wharton Small Business Development Center. Marjorie was also a finalist in the Ernst & Young 2002 and 2001 "Entrepreneur of the Year" awards, in the business consulting category. Her topics include business etiquette, presentation skills, turning business dreams into reality, and effective self-marketing. Marjorie travels extensively as a professional speaker and executive coach, sharing her knowledge with people in the U.S. and abroad. Through repeat business and referrals, she has built up an impressive client roster of Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
