Biography: Inspirational speaker, author, MBA, World Champion and two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner Mike Schlappi has proven that just because you can't stand up, doesn't mean you can't stand out! He is the only wheelchair basketball player to compete and earn medals in the past four Paralympic Games in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, and Sydney. Mike is honored by the State of Utah as one of its Top 50 Athletes of the Century, and he is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City where he had the privilege of running in the torch relay in St. George, UT and also a placard bearer during the Opening Ceremonies. Mike's patented "Attitude Therapy" has inspired thousands of audiences to adapt, overcome, and light the fire within! Mike and his wife Tami have five children and reside in Draper, UT. |
