Biography: Robert Wells is a theatrical producer, director, actor, choreographer, writer and teacher in Denver, Colorado. He was resident director at the Bonfils/Lowenstein Theater (a division of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts), founder-director of the Avenue Theater, and has worked with Central City Opera and many other Rocky Mountain performing arts organizations. His teaching experience includes the University Of Denver, University of Northern Colorado, Loretto Heights College, and Cherry Creek Schools, where he developed the theater and communications programs. Mr. Wells is the artistic/executive director and a performer with Chicken Lips Comedy Theater, Denver's original and acclaimed improvisational theater, which he co-founded in 1979. He is also the stage director and choreographer for the Colorado Children's Chorale, and international children's performing ensemble. Mr. Wells designs and presents experiential seminars in humor, creativity, communication, leadership, team-building, performance skills, risk and change, spontaneity, flexibility, and laughter and health, all based in improvisation, an actor's tool that has made a meaningful transition for business and professional people. Mr. Wells has worked across the United States and Canada with companies including Hewlett Packard, Adolph Coors Company, AT&T, US West, Young Presidents' Organizations, American Bankers Association, Sun Microsystems, Martin Marietta, The Centers at the University of Colorado, American Society of Training and Development, Kaiser Permanente, VSA Inc., Radisson Hotels, and dozen of other corporate, professional and educational organizations. Mr. Wells is currently giving motivational workshops that enhance creative thinking, communication, teamwork, listening skills, spontaneity, flexibility, and general health of both the team and the individual. His presentations are lively, active, fun, innovative, and most of all valuable. He has many different presentations to chose from. One is "Mental Floss" that deals with creative thinking from a barrier-breaking perspective. Another is "Laughing As Though Your Life Depended On It," it has appropriate humor and health of the organization. "Laughing All The Way To The Bank," is a fresh approach to customer service. Mr. Wells speaks lively about teamwork and cooperation in "Teamplays/Teamworks." Last but not least "Kick Start," is a 30-minute that will energize the beginning of your event!
