Biography:

Rita Bailey is widely sought after for her unique infusion of gifts. In addition to customer service, she specializes in the areas of Culture, Leadership, People Success Strategies, and Women's Issues. Rita is considered a Champion of Possibility and delivers the message that "If you put People First, Profits will Follow."

When asked what type of business she's in, Rita's answer is, The People Business. As CEO and Founder of QVF Consultants, Rita works with organizations and individuals who are serious about creating People focused relationships and cultures. She shares her expertise and resources to help develop environments where people can do and be their best. She passionately believes that every workplace can be a positive place to work. As an International Speaker and Consultant, she has presented to groups in Europe, Mexico, Brazil and Australia on topics including People Success Strategies, Leadership, Innovation, Culture, Branding, and Customer Service.

During her 25-year career at Southwest Airlines, Rita served in several positions, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Public Relations and HR. In her last role as Director of the University for People, she was responsible for the design, development and implementation of Leadership and Personal Development programs for over 32,000 Employees. She also established a Career Development Services team responsible for helping employees develop a career path.

Rita has served on several advisory committees and boards and currently serves as the 2005 Chair of the 70,000 member ASTD (American Society of Training & Development), working with Learning Leaders worldwide.

She has often been interviewed and quoted in publications such as Harvard Business Review, Business Week, Corporate Meetings and Incentives and Wall Street Journal on topics of recruiting and training practices.

She holds a bachelor degree in business and several training and HR certificates.

She received Southwest Airlines President's Award for outstanding achievement, twice. Rita lives the philosophies that if you put People first, profits will follow and that work can be FUN!
