Biography:

Harvard Business Review, CNBC and Fast Company have called Bill Jensen today's foremost expert on work complexity and cutting through clutter to what really matters. The Conference Board designed an entire conference around his work.

Bill Jensen has spent the past two decades studying business' ability to design work. His keynotes include data-driven, real-world challenges and fixes borne from over 500,000 interviews and survey responses from all over the globe. He has been called "the Studs Terkel of knowledge workers," for his keen observations on how work gets done today.

His mission, message and passions are simple and clear: To make it easier to get stuff done. This approach creates high demand for his most-requested topics:

- Smarter Speed: Simpler Ways to Peak Performance

- Simplicity: How to Get It All Done, AND Remain Sane!

- Less Is More: How to Stay Focused on What Matters

Mr. Jensen is an internationally-acclaimed speaker known for provocative ideas, extremely useful content, and his passion for making it easier for leaders, managers and employees to work smarter and accomplish extraordinary feats.

The common thread in every Jensen presentation is that your biggest competition is not "out there" - in today's cluttered and more/better/faster business environments, you are competing for everyone's time and attention!

Leadership guru Warren Bennis called Jensen's first book, Simplicity, "one of the best guidebooks I've read on the key to success and effectiveness in this hyper-turbulent age." Simplicity was the Number 5 Leadership/Management book on Amazon in 2000. His next best-sellers were Work 2.0, and The Simplicity Survival Handbook: 32 Ways to Do Less and Accomplish More.

His latest book, What is Your Life's Work?, captures the intimate exchanges between mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, and caring teammates, all talking about what really matters. Stephen Lundin, author of the best-selling FISH! series called Life's Work "the most powerful book about life at work that I have ever read."

Bill has 25 years of experience in communication and change consulting, and holds degrees in Communication Design and Organizational Development. When not traveling the world for research and scores of keynotes per year, as CEO of the Jensen Group, Jensen consults for such clients as Bank of America, Merck, Pfizer, Duracell, NASA, BP, The World Bank, Walt Disney World, American Express, the US Navy SEALS, the government of Ontario, Singapore Institute of Management, Guangzhou China Development District, and the Swedish Post Office.
