Behnam Tabrizi is an internationally recognized expert on corporate
transformation, sales excellence, benchmarking, and product life cycle. He has
served as a consultant to senior executives at Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel,
Oracle, Cisco, Lee & Fung, Haier, and many other major companies.
Tabrizi is the author of four books on corporate transformation. A chapter
from his latest book, Rapid Transformation: A 90-day Plan for Fast and
Effective Change (2007), is included in the Change Management Center.
Tabrizi serves as a Professor (Consulting) in the Management Science and
Engineering department at Stanford University. He has taught "Leading and
Managing Change" at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program,
and served as the Director of the Stanford/AEA mini-MBA executive program. He
has also served on the doctoral committee at Harvard Business School.
Tabrizi was a co-recipient of the 2001 Administrative Science Quarterly
Award for Scholarly Contribution for a paper which influenced subsequent theory
and research in the field of management.
Tabrizi received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of
Kansas, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of
Illinois, Urbana, and an M.S. in Engineering Management and a Ph.D. in
Strategy, Organizations, and Technology Management from Stanford
University.
