Michelle Lemmons-Poscente is the Chairman of ISB Global, LLC, a diversified leadership and educational services firm providing organizations worldwidewith unparalleled access to the world's best thinkers, educational programs, and corporate training offerings. She is also founder and CEO of its flagship company, International Speakers Bureau, a full-service speaker's agency specializing in business, contemporary thought leadership, and entertainment headquartered in Dallas, Texas. ISB's clientele includes most of the Fortune 500 as well as multinationals, small businesses, governments, universities and NGOs around the world. ISB represents the very best authors, academics, celebrities, entertainers, sports-figures and subject-matter experts. Its international business is growing significantly representing over 20% of total operations. The Company recently opened offices in Dubai, and plans to have a presence in Asia and India by year-end 2008.

Michelle majored in Communications at Southern Methodist University before relocating to Hollywood to work in the film and television industry on programs such as Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Star Search and Supermodels of the World. In 1993 she founded International Speakers Bureau on the cutting-edge of the growing speaking industry, and has never looked back.
Dubbed as one of the "Top Female-Owned Businesses" in the U.S. by Bank One and recognized as one of the top-managed companies in the United States, winning the Sprint #1 Small Business Award (sweeping the categories Customer Service, Marketing and Innovation), International Speakers Bureau has become one of the largest and most respected bureaus in the world.
Recently, Michelle was featured on ABC's, The American Inventor, as the Presentation Coach for the top 12 contestants
Within the past two years the ISB Global family of companies has grown to include a management firm, a corporate training and consulting company, and an event series.
ISB Management acts an agency for selected business thought leaders in much the same way CAA does for actors or IMG for sports personalities. The management firm handles about twenty best-selling authors and focuses on developing and commercializing their intellectual property, as well as coordinating their branding and market visibility.
On the corporate training front, Michelle has joined forces with several industry veterans who have been responsibility for the successful product development, sales and delivery of the offerings of several of the biggest names in the corporate training market over the past two decade. ISB Worldwide provides its clients best of breed branded training offerings in key business categories such as leadership, innovation, change, strategy, communications, performance management, sales and marketing.
The third addition to ISB Global is Leadership Shows, a live leadership event series appearing in fifteen US markets in 2007 and thirty in 2008. The executive team of Leadership Shows team created the speaking platform that elevated many best-selling business authors into "management rock star" status. Since the early 1990's, they have producing over one thousand live events in more than forty countries, as well as the Fortune CEO Forum.
Michelle has held numerous international board positions including Vice Presidents of Education for Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO) as well as seats on International Association of Speakers Bureaus, Young President's Organization (YPO) TACA Board – a Dallas arts fund-raising organization, The SMU Doak Walker Sports Lecture Series, and Meeting Planners International (MPI) as a Charter member.
Michelle is married to Canadian Olympic star Vincent Poscente and is the mother of three children.

He graduated from Texas A&M University as a member and President of the Class of 2005. He was immediately attracted to ISB because he speaks regularly at conferences, retreats, youth groups, and churches and decided ISB could teach him "the other side." He holds degrees from Millikin University (B.A.) and the University of North Texas (M.M.). While at UNT, he was a long standing member of the world-renowned One O\'Clock Lab Band and held the distinguished position of Lead Trumpet for over three years. Music is part of his soul, so he is constantly striving to be one of the most sought after freelance instrumentalists in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. <br><br>Being a native of the great state of Wisconsin, David never misses a Green Bay Packers game and tries to eat bratwurst at least once a month to keep up with tradition. He also admits to being a sports junky, thus the current fascination with NASCAR, and Matt Kenseth (a fellow Cheesehead) in particular. <br><br>Family is of the utmost importance to David, so he is always eager to see his wife Elizabeth and their one and a half year-old son Gabriel. She worked for YPO in the events division and has literally traveled the world with her career. She has moved quickly through the ISB ranks from administrative to sales (still a proud record-holder) and has now made herself quite comfortable in the contracts department where her attention to detail and rounded knowledge of the industry are well suited. <br><br>Born in Dallas, she lived overseas long enough to “find herself” and learn to speak Dutch fluently, then somehow “found herself” back here. She has an impressive list of things-to-do that include, but are not limited to, buy a Harley and ride cross-country with her brother, get her pilots license, learn to scuba dive and sky dive at least once and travel to many more exotic places. She cannot live without cheese, wine, loud music, fast cars, humor or the occasional new pair of shoes.<br>');)

Jay received his degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and has a background in public relations. Sooner Jay was a member of the men’s varsity gymnastics team and was named captain his senior year. He was a member of the 1984 Big 8 Men’s Gymnastics Championship Team. Jay, his wife Jackie and their children, daughter Olivia and son Ethan, moved to Ashville, North Carolina in 2004 where they share their home with a crotchety old cat named Samantha. Jay has forsaken gymnastics in favor of travel, golf, personal fitness and spending time with his family. An avid reader and American history fan, Jay counts Texas, Poisonwood Bible, and Patriot’s Handbook among his favorite books and “The Godfather” and “Tombstone” his favorite movies. ');)

He is a former Director of Member Networks at Young Presidents’ Organization and Marketing Manager for the Inventory of Skills Foundation. Micheal was a Founding Editor at the award winning <i>FW Weekly</i> and a nationally published music and pop culture journalist. He was an intern to U.S. Representative Martin Frost and served in the U.S. Army’s elite paratrooper corps the 82nd Airborne Division. Micheal brings to ISB his many years of experience in international operations, executive networking, educational content planning, event and program management, and marketing. He sits on several advisory boards including an arts-in-school advocacy foundation. <br><br>Micheal pursued his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in International Studies and History at the University of Texas at Arlington and The University of Chicago. As a child, Michelle wanted to be a firefighter or a mud-wrestler. After completing basic studies, Michelle moved to London, England where she studied leadership and sociology (so much for mud-wrestling!). After six months in London, her return to Dallas was short-lived and she moved back for two and a half years coordinating a high-profile social action and music festival. Whilst in London, Michelle enjoyed sipping tea and eating cucumber sandwiches with Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister and rock stars.<br><br>Michelle worked for the Four Seasons Resort for four years as the staff trainer and was a deep-water lifeguard for five years. Michelle is passionate about social action and social justice, and one day plans to work in Africa and Romania. She is continuing her studies in Anthropology and hopes to travel extensively before having to "settle down." Michelle has two wonderful and loving parents who still wash the dishes together and two incredible older sisters who are her best friends. He was educated in traditional boarding schools and then blossomed at the Universities of Cambridge and Durham where he studied History and Archaeology. He carried out fieldwork on Neolithic settlement patterns in the windswept Shetland Islands and was employed as a professional archaeologist in northern and central England for several years.<br><br>Richard became a tour director and led groups in Canada, Ireland, New England and the United Kingdom. Along the way he met his wife Karen and moved to Texas which seemed mighty strange at first. He was then hired to work for the oldest travel company in the United States and led a privileged but stressful existence guiding the rich and almost famous around Europe, the Middle East and South America. He helped to blaze trails in countries unfamiliar to most American travelers, including Cuba, Estonia, Romania, Syria and Tunisia.<br><br>Fortunately Richard\'s son Rowan attended the same school as the son of Michelle Lemmons, founder of International Speakers Bureau. This allowed Richard to be inducted into the mysterious world of professional speaking where he soon discovered a niche in the collegiate market which he has occupied since 2003. During that time, ISB has become a recognized player in the fiercely competitive business of booking campus speakers. Richard is adept at uncovering emerging or overlooked talent, especially in the realms of diversity and sustainability. His professional obsessions are cultural sensitivity and knowledge management. My interests have always been varied – sports, politics, pop culture, literature, business, music, travel. The next thing I knew I was the somewhat stereotypical Gen Xer – a well-rounded, well-traveled thirty year old with a great liberal arts education from Boston College, an interesting yet incongruent work history, still trying to answer the question recently posed by Po Bronson, “What Should I Do With My Life?” In other words, and much to the chagrin of my parents, I was the dubious “jack of many trades, master of none.” Little did I know that my varied experiences and seemingly random skill set would provide me with the ideal credentials to be a successful lecture agent. Thus an exciting new career was born at ISB. I can’t think of many careers more fulfilling than this one -- facilitating the inspiration of others, picking the best brains of our time, exchanging ideas with foremost thought leaders, working with talented people from different industries and institutions, and all the while being part of a great and creative team.
