Rodney Brooks
Panasonic Professor of Robotics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rodney Brooks is Chief Technical Officer and sits on the Board of iRobot Corp. From July 1, 2003, until June 30, 2007, he was director of the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory; prior to that, he was director of the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Rudolf Jaenisch
Rudolf Jaenisch is a leader in the field of therapeutic cloning in which the genetic information from one cell is transplanted into an unfertilized egg from which DNA has been removed. A founding member of the Whitehead Institute, today Rudolf's lab is investigating epigenetic mechanisms for certain types of cancer and for brain development.

Stephen Hawking
Physicist and best selling author, Stephen Hawking has twelve honorary degrees, was awarded the CBE in 1982, and was made a Companion of Honour in 1989. He is the recipient of many awards, medals and prizes and is a Fellow of The Royal Society and a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences. He has worked on the basic laws which govern the universe and continues to research theoretical physics. He has an extensive programme of travel and public lectures.
